Covid Terms and Conditions

In order minimise the risk of COVID transmission as much as possible, I am adopting the following protocol for each driving lesson:

•  The evening before, I will contact you to ensure that you have no symptoms of coronavirus, that you have not been in contact with anyone showing symptoms. Coronavirus (COVID-19) – NHS (www.nhs.uk). Please reply promptly by text message. If this changes at any point before your lesson, then please let me know asap. 
• A LFT test (Lateral Flow Test) may be required before the lesson (more details will be send by text message).
•  I will meet you outside the car to make sure everything is still ok before you enter the vehicle.
•  Please keep any possessions you bring to a minimum, anything you bring to the lesson will be stored in a plastic box in the boot, this will be cleaned after every pupil.
•  Wash hands thoroughly immediately before the lesson, in addition to this hand sanitiser will be provide before you enter and leave the vehicle.
•  The car will be sanitised before you get in. All contact surfaces will be cleaned with anti-viral wipes and the seats and seatbelts sprayed with anti-viral spray.
•  Payment to be made at least 48 hours in advance by bank transfer, bank details will be provided by email. Please send a text to confirm payment, quoting account name and amount.
•  No-one else to sit in on the lesson.
•  The use of face coverings on lessons and tests is now optional. I can supply a disposable face mask if you wish to wear one. 
•  If you wish to use disposable gloves, you can, please bring your own and put them on before entering the vehicle.
• If you have any concerns, please let me know as soon as possible.
• Covid-19 still poses a risk especially to those who are vulnerable. I will carry out a Covid risk assessment on each pupil and if necessary, the lesson may have to be postponed for up to 14 days. Please note that my decision on the cancellation of lessons or tests is final.
